Our housing colleagues support clients to deal with the issues they are facing

These roles are extremely rewarding. Many of our Housing & Support Officer roles are open to candidates who would like to work in supported housing but do not have direct experience of the services that we provide.

What the role involves

You will be working as part of an effective team to provide high-quality housing and support services to adults who are homeless or at risk of being so. You will act as a keyworker to named clients and support clients to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible whilst ensuring they are safe and able to manage risks appropriately.

You will also carry out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues, and undertaking health and safety checks, ensuring a trauma informed approach is taken to support clients to maintain their tenancies. Reflecting Transform’s values in everything you do.

Most of the housing positions require you to have a full valid driving licence and your own car. Some roles have specific work patterns such as evening and weekend work or sleep ins. A number of our frontline colleagues also take part in an out of hours on-call service.

No previous experience is necessary as training is provided so if you are aligned to our values want to make a difference to the client groups we support and have the aptitude to enable and empower people to make positive changes in their lives we want to hear from you.
