Meet the Spelthorne team

"It’s never enough to do just what's needed, we’re always looking for ways to do more to help clients fulfil their aspirations."

What services do you provide?

We provide housing and support in Spelthorne for young people from the age of 16 and adults of all ages. We have young people’s beds and flats, self-contained accommodation and shared houses.

How many people do you support?

Generally we have around sixty clients at any given time.

How big is your team?

We have four Housing & Support Officers, a Service Manager and a Housing & Support Manager who oversees the Runnymede and Spelthorne services.

What makes your team unique?

They care – they really really care and they want the best for the clients. Our office is a positive environment to work in with good team spirit and smiles! As a team, we are focused on good outcomes for our clients and supporting them to increase their independence.

We have quite a diverse team with a real mix of characters but the one thing that links them is that they are all extremely hard-working and go over and above to help their clients. They’re honestly amazing. The team is committed to getting clients involved many different projects and events throughout the year. These include coffee mornings, BBQ’s and craft activities.

What has been your team biggest success in fifty years?

As a team, we have had many successes; it is hard to single out one as the biggest or most important. The Spelthorne team has been around a long time and the service has adapted to the needs of the area, working very closely with partner agencies. Relationships with stakeholders have helped us develop a reputation for excellence locally.
