Transform awarded £2500 grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded a £2500 grant from the Community Foundation for Surrey. The funding will enhance the lives of young people aged 16-25 in our services.

The Foundation's generous grant will support our Client Grant Programme, specifically young clients who require financial assistance. Many of the young people we support face significant financial disadvantage, which is being exacebated by the current cost of living crisis. Our successful Client Grant Programme supports hundreds of people each year to live more independent and fulfilled lives, offering help where they often have nowhere else to turn.

We will uset the grant to enhance the lives of young people by awarding grants in four key areas:

1. Warm welcome - grants will provide clothing, food packages and vouchers and ID documents when young people first come into our services.

2. Health and Wellbeing - grants will fund gym memberships, bikes, counselling and other initiatives aimed at improving wellbeing.

3. Employment and Education - grants will fund course fees, equipment and transport costs, enabling young people to progress in their lives and careers.

4. Move on - grants will support young people when it is time for them to move on from Transform, helping with moving costs, furniture and white goods.

The ongoing support of the Foundation makes a substantial difference to the lives of the homeless and vulnerable people within Surrey. We value their generosity and look forward to seeing the positive impact this grant will have on young people in our services.
