Transform shortlisted for Best Supported Housing Landlord in the UK Housing Awards.

Transform is thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Best Supported Housing Landlord category in the UK Housing Awards.

The housing sector’s most prestigious awards are back for their 25th year. Since 1997 the UK Housing Awards have shone a light on the remarkable teams and individuals who have demonstrated a real commitment to the housing sector and whose work has made a valuable impact to the people and communities they serve.

The application needed to provide examples of a number of different achievements including showcasing how the project does much more than put a roof over clients’ heads. We also had to show how we have helped people to maintain their independence and live healthy, happy lives as well as explain why the past year has been particularly outstanding.

Our successes included teaming up with Elmbridge Borough Council, Rentstart, Molesey Churches Night Shelter, Surrey County Council and Public Health England to install temporary accommodation in the form of 12 studio cabins in Elmbridge.

We also secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and The Community Foundation for Surrey which was used to purchase vital IT equipment to support clients through these challenging times – and into the future.

We are proud that our support enabling homeless and vulnerable people to live more independent and fulfilling lives has been recognised in some of the housing sector's most prestigious awards.

Congratulations to our wonderful Transform colleagues – this is acknowledgement of your tireless efforts to support clients.
