During what has been a challenging year, Transform has been overwhelmed by the generous and continued support received from donors, supporters, and volunteers. We have received vital emergency funds that have helped provide PPE – along with actual PPE equipment – to protect clients and staff as well as donations to keep clients digitally connected while self-isolating.
We have also needed to balance ongoing funding needs and have continued to invest in safe and affordable homes for vulnerable people to live in, alongside specialist support and interventions.
The pandemic has shone a welcome light on the challenges faced by homeless and vulnerable people. However, as restrictions start to ease, those challenges will not lessen for these individuals. Transform continues to commit its efforts to providing increased opportunities and services to homeless and vulnerable people which enable them to live independent and fulfilled lives.
Head of Business Development Hannah Monck was quick to confirm how appreciative Transform was of all the amazing donations that had been made during the past year. “In addition to many donations in kind, we have received more than £200,000 pounds and every single penny has been used to help us support clients who have been facing even more challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic,” she explained.
“We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank all our donors for their support, especially during such difficult times. We aren’t able to list them all, and some individuals wish to donate anonymously, but we would like to express our sincere gratitude for everyone who has donated to us – you have been simply invaluable and we are so grateful.”
