The first ever Transform Housing & Support Golf Day has raised £5,500 to help homeless and vulnerable people.
The charity day in support of Transform was held at Effingham Golf Club on Friday 21 September. More than 60 golfers attended, including representatives from several local businesses. They enjoyed lunch on arrival, an 18-hole team competition and a prize-giving dinner with raffle and auction in support of Transform’s work.
The winning team was Kingsmead and the runners up were Swan Residential.
There were also three individual competitions taking place throughout the day:
- Beat the pro: Chris Felton
- Nearest the pin: Robin Hollington
- Longest drive: Mark Stanley
