Rydes Hill School raises £1,800 for Transform

Rydes Hill Preparatory School in Guildford has raised more than £1,800 for Transform Housing & Support, during the first six months of supporting the charity.

The school has chosen Transform as its charity of the year for 2012/13. Pupils, staff and parents have taken part in a range of fundraising activities, including a coffee morning, a ‘wear it green’ mufti day and collections at the school’s Christmas plays.

Most recently a Governor at the school, Mrs Kate Osborne of The Gorgeous Flower Company (which designs wedding and special occasion flowers), created and donated beautiful Valentine’s Day bouquets to be sold in aid of Transform. The flowers raised £475 in support of our work. For more information please visit www.thegorgeousflowercompany.co.uk

In Guildford, Transform provides housing and support for 80 people, including people with learning disabilities or mental health issues, homeless people, and vulnerable young people.
