Team Transform takes on the Surrey Hills

Team Transform successfully completed the Prudential Ride London challenge, to support the charity’s work with homeless and vulnerable people.

Chris Deacon, who joined the Transform Board in 2013, is a member of the Fundraising Committee and a keen supporter of the charity. He was accompanied on the ride by fellow team member and newcomer to the organisation, Mark Webster. Mark signed up to fundraise for Transform before he’d even completed his first day at Transform!

Between them they have raised over £3,700 in vital funds for the charity, which will go towards ensuring their continued life-changing work.

Chris said of his triumph:

“Despite my stiff legs and sore behind, I really enjoyed being part of this fantastic event and I’m even more pleased to have raised money for the great work of Transform.”

Transform provides housing and support for more than 1,000 homeless and vulnerable people each year. The charity offers people accommodation as well as one-to-one specialist support to gain life skills and build up their confidence.

There is still time to support Chris and Mark by donating to their JustGiving pages!
