Torch visit raises funds for Transform

A fundraising event at Sainsbury’s in Brookwood featuring the Paralympic torch has raised more than £300 for Transform.

The Paralympic torch visited the Sainsbury’s store on Friday 17 August. Sainsbury's customers could have their photo taken with the torch, in exchange for a donation to Transform.

Clients and staff from Transform’s projects in Woking went along to collect donations and raised £367.

Transform is Sainsbury’s Brookwood Local Charity Partner for 2012/13 and the store is fundraising during the year to support our work in Woking.
