Transform Housing & Support has appointed David Parmee to join its Board.

David Parmee was appointed as a trustee of Transform at the Board meeting on 28 November. He brings with him extensive business and financial experience, as well as knowledge of the charity sector.

David retired from partnership in PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007 after a career in the actuarial profession, having held management and partnership positions in the insurance industry and professional services firms. His international business experience included audit, financial reporting, strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Since retirement, he has involved himself in a range of activities including volunteering for five organisations, most notably, The Children’s Trust, Tadworth.

David Parmee said on his appointment:

“Having contributed to homelessness charities for many years, I was fortunate to be made aware of Transform by former Chair Elizabeth Kennedy and to have the opportunity to turn the passive support of the past into much more active support in the future. I am very much looking forward to applying my business experience and recent experience of the not-for-profit sector to the advancement of Transform.”
