Transform Homecare rated ‘Good’ by CQC

Following a Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection in June, Transform Homecare East Surrey has been rated as ‘Good’ by the health and social care regulator.

The team was visited on 8 June 2017 and were rated against five CQC domains – safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Transform scored ‘Good’ across the board.

The report is extremely positive and includes comments from people who use the service and their relatives who were interviewed. These include:

“I feel Mum is safe with the carers. We have confidence in them.”

“They are very caring people. I have known them a long time.”

Helen Dickens, Compliance Support Officer for Transform Homecare East Surrey said:

“We were really pleased with the outcome of the inspection process and with our report. The Inspectors spent a lot of time talking to our clients and our staff to get a really good picture of how our service runs. They got to the heart of what we are most proud of about our homecare service.”

Transform Homecare comprises three registered locations including East Surrey. It is anticipated that the remaining services will be inspected in the coming months. This is the first rating since the merger between Transform and Cherchefelle happened in October 2016.
