Transform receives Investors in People Bronze Standard

Transform Housing & Support has been awarded the Investors in People Bronze Standard, following a three-day assessment earlier this month.

Transform has held the Investors in People standard since 2001. This time we have achieved the Bronze standard, which means going beyond the standard Investors in People criteria and achieving best practice in at least 26 additional areas.

Investors in People is the UK's leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides resources to help businesses to innovate, improve and grow.

Transform Chief Executive Paul Mitchell said:

“At Transform, investing in people is at the heart of what we do – both in terms of developing our staff and in supporting homeless and vulnerable people. We are fortunate to have an extremely professional, knowledgeable and determined staff team, who are really passionate about transforming the lives of the people we help. We put a lot of time and resource into training and developing our staff so they can reach their potential and support our clients to do the same. I am delighted that this has been recognised with the Investors in People Bronze Standard.”

In a survey of Transform staff earlier this year, 93% said they would recommend working at Transform to a friend. Staff said their top reasons for working at the charity were making a difference, being part of a team, and that the role was interesting. Staff receive substantial training in their role, with each person receiving on average 3.2 days of training in 2013/14.
