Waitrose Community Matters Scheme helps SCDT

A big thank you to Waitrose New Malden and their customers for a donation of £419 from the Community Matters (Green Token) scheme.

Surrey Community Development Trust (SCDT) was one of three charities nominated in March and proved popular with the customers, as the donation was nearly half of the £1,000 on offer from Waitrose every month, which is split between the three charities.

SCDT has received over £2,500 from this scheme from local Waitrose branches in Surrey and Wokingham. SCDT clients have benefited directly and we are planning more resident events with new donations coming through.

We are very grateful to all our supporters and members of the general public who have supported SCDT through this scheme.
